2023 Fantasy Football: Top 10 ADP Fallers in Best Ball

Based on recent data, these players are seeing their fantasy stock drop in best ball drafts.

ADP: 36.9

Etienne’s stock hasn’t dropped severely in the last week, but he has slipped out of the first three rounds and is now more of a fourth-rounder. That’s likely due to the addition of D’Ernest Johnson and rookie Tank Bigsby, which crowds the Jaguars backfield. What’s more, recent reports suggest Etienne’s average of 15 touches per game from a year ago is unlikely to increase in 2023.

ADP: 49.9

This ADP move south for Walker was bound to happen, as the Seahawks selected UCLA’s Zach Charbonnet in the second round of the NFL draft. That could mean a committee is imminent, which would also mean a decline in Walker’s 17 touches per game average from his rookie campaign. Walker, who might have been a second- or third-rounder, has now fallen into the fifth round.

ADP: 72.2

The best ball world seems to believe that the Vikings will part ways with Cook, which would leave Alexander Mattison as the lead back. That can easily be deciphered by recent ADP data, which has the positional gap between the two backs shrinking. In fact, Mattison is now the RB26 as opposed to Cook, who is the RB21. Cook could ultimately become a bargain, but his stock is sliding.

ADP: 90.8

Williams was considered one of the top up and coming fantasy running backs this time last season, but a torn ACL and LCL has his stock going in the other direction. In fact, he’s fallen out of the top 90 players based on recent ADP data. In fact, backs like Cam Akers, Rachaad White and Isiah Pacheco are going ahead of him. Samaje Perine could see a bigger role in the offense, too.

ADP: 96.6

Sutton’s value has fallen from that of a potential breakout candidate last season with the addition of Russell Wilson to a player who is barely even a top-100 overall pick. The Broncos will also get veteran Tim Patrick back from an injured knee, and the team also added Marquez Callaway and drafted rookie Marvin Mims. At this point, Sutton is no more than a No. 4 fantasy wideout.

ADP: 99.1

Kamara has been a first-round fantasy pick for most of his NFL career, but his ADP data has him falling fast. That’s due to a decline in his stats without Drew Brees, a looming suspension and the additions of Jamaal Williams and rookie Kendre Miller. Some would argue that he could become a bargain if his slide continues, but for now it’s hard to see Kamara as more than a flex option.

ADP: 110.8

Beckham Jr. is the biggest name in Baltimore’s wide receiver room, and his one-year, $15 million deal is certainly the largest. Still, he’s being picked third among all Ravens wideouts based on Underdog’s ADP data. Rookie Zay Flowers (ADP – 88) and Rashod Bateman (ADP – 92.8) are both going ahead of OBJ, who isn’t even a top-100 overall pick in best-ball drafts right now.

ADP: 148.8

Murray has been a solid No. 1 fantasy quarterback during his time in the NFL, but he has seen his stock fall this offseason. Not only is he coming off a torn ACL, which is a potential hindrance to his mobility, but the Cardinals also released Murray’s top option in the passing game, DeAndre Hopkins. In all, 19 quarterbacks, including Jared Goff and Derek Carr, are going ahead of Murray.

ADP: 175.8

The TE14 in PPR formats from last season, Knox has fallen down to 22nd at the position based on the most recent best-ball data. That’s due to the addition of talented rookie Dalton Kincaid, who is going nearly 60 spots ahead of Knox on Underdog over the last week. What’s more, Knox has fallen out of the top 175 players and is now more of a low-end No. 2 fantasy tight end.

ADP: 182.4

Lance was once considered a potential breakout candidate in fantasy leagues, but things have gone sideways for him since then. The mobile quarterback has had injury issues and appears to have lost his starting job to Brock Purdy, who led the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game last season. Unless Lance can unseat Purdy or gets traded, he’ll barely be worth a late-round flier.
